The taegum or taego (also chottae or cho) is a large bamboo flute of Korean origin.

Near its construction by the Chinese dizi, it has 6 holes Thursday, a mouth hole, a hole mirliton covered by a thin membrane plant, and one to five holes agreements with its distal end.

It provides a range of diatonic Bb and is used in traditional Korean music a'ak.
