Julio Iglesias
Julio Iglesias was born in Madrid on September 23, 1943, is a Spanish singer. He recorded 78 discs in different languages and has sold a total of over 250 000 000.
The son of a gynecologist, he was first professional footballer at Real Madrid, playing the post of goalkeeper, before devoting himself to music, in the register of romantic crooner. He sings today in both french and English and Spanish.
He took part in the 1970 Grand Prix Eurovision and reaches 4 degrees with 8 points. He sang Gwendolyne.

He sang many duets: Summer Wind with Frank Sinatra, My Love with Stevie Wonder, My Way / A Mi Manera (with Paul Anka), To All the Girls I've Loved Before and Spanish Eyes with Willie Nelson, All of you with Diana Ross (resumed Cole Porter), Smoke Gets In Your Eyes with All-4-One, When You Tell Me That You Love Me with Dolly Parton, Quizas, Quizas, Quizas with Arielle Dombasle, Se que volveras, La Paloma, Cucurucucu paloma with Nana Mouskouri, La vie en rose with Dalida (resumption of Édith Piaf)… In his next CD, Something France, Françoise Hardy interpreter Partir still with him (Exit, May 28, 2007).
His son, Enrique Iglesias and Julio Iglesias Jr are also singers.
